A new study conducted by a team of researchers from Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM), Italy, and the Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency (PBL), the Netherlands, examine the possible consequences climate change mitigation and adaptation policies could have on global inequalities. The study is particularly relevant from a policy viewpoint in the context of/in the light of the historical climate agreement reached last year in Paris. Results have been produced within the context of the FP7 European project LIMITS led by Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei (FEEM), and have been published by the international journal Environmental Research Letter in the article “Alleviating inequality in climate policy costs: an integrated perspective on mitigation, damage and adaptation“.
